I don’t usually wear white make-up (especially not white eyeliner, although that’s slowly changing these days obviously). But in the past few months I find myself experimenting with new make up styles far more often then I did before. I recently discovered an alternative to black eyeliner – a white one. It’s equally interesting and draws attention to your eyes as much as the dark version does. Maybe even more since it’s not so usual. Another plus is that it’s so minimal that it can be worn during the day but is also appropriate for a night out. It also allows you to go wild with your outfit and the best of all – it takes literally 2 minutes to do!
To achieve this look, I used a white eyeliner pencil (you can find them at your local drugstores, Avon or online), drew a line along my lash line and created a small wing on the outer corner of the eye. In order for it to last longer, you can take a damp angled brush, dip it into matte white eyeshadow and set the liner. Finish off with two coats of mascara and you’re done! These are the basics, but of course, you can get freaky with it and create your own version – use colored mascara, add fake eyelashes or use glow in the dark white! Have fun with your new white eyeliner look!
