I just realized I was wearing all DIY that day; the star of the outfit being the shredded tee.
The shoes were light denim originally and I painted them white to look more like nurse shoes. I bought them back in the 90’s and the rare ones will understand the obsession. The skirt was a part of a vintage lacey night gown. I just split it and got two items – this skirt and the top. And finally, the piece that this outfit was built around – the shredded tee. I worked on it for five days straight last summer and am really proud of. Unfortunately, lending it to my friend for a night out wasn’t such a good idea as he ripped the back open. I somehow sewed it back in place but don’t think it’ll last too long though. I’m thinking of doing another one and if I do, I may post a tutorial here. All white, flowy and light – key ingredients for the perfect summer uniform.
