all that glitters31.12.2012
I so fail at this “new-post-coming-soon” thing, every time. I had big plans for the blog at the end of the year (at least two more updates) but real life got in the way. As you probably already know, I’m all about quality over quantity here, so this will be the last 2012 post.
Since previous New Year’s eve, my point of view in terms of fashion and what to wear on December 31st has changed a bit. I realized that no matter if you’re going to a friend’s party, a club or just having a cozy night at home with your loved ones, the no.1 priority has to be comfort. I’m not saying pajamas is the way to go, but choose wisely because you’ll be doing a lot of dancing, drinking, eating or laying and watching TV and you want to be comfortable while doing it. But, as far as make up goes, I’m totally humming a different tune. The recipe for perfect make up for the wildest night is… actually, there isn’t any. Just splatter some make up on your face, or don’t. Use crazy neon colors! Or don’t. Get the longest, thickest lashes out there or just go au natural. Moral of the rant: Everyone should visualize their perfect look for the night and do what ever the hell they want. No trends should be followed and some rules are bound to be broken for the sake of true personal style! If, however, anyone clicked on this post seeking inspiration, take a look at the photos above because that’s how I’ll be rolling tonight. Bleached everything + copper colored glitter all over my face.
Have fun, darlings! Go wild but please don’t end up in jail. Or dead. I wish you all the best in the upcoming year, I hope you set your resolutions and are ready to kick some serious butt and achieve your goals in 2013! See ya next year, wink wink.
