Lately I noticed I’ve been choosing my biggest bags for carrying the littlest amount of stuff. And then folding them in half and nonchalantly sporting under my arm. I had a phase where I would carry my bags with handles in hands, sweeping the streets the whole day. I still do it sometimes. Then I had a clutch phase, but that didn’t last very long since they look ah-maaaazing but are so impractical for everyday. Then came the backpack phase. That’s usually my summer thing, since I always imagine I’m headed to a rave or a festival as soon as I get out the door. Last but not least is this weird thing I’ve been doing for few months now. I’m guessing it’s a mental thing eg. ‘I wanna wear a clutch, but can’t since I might need more room later. Or my hands will get tired so I’ll need straps’, etc. So the weird thing feels like the perfect solution. And looks cool too.
I quite like this unconscious obsession of mine. I only hope I don’t look as ridiculous as those girls with their bags hanging loose from their elbow joints, with wrists flopping (or carrying a cell phone) and mouth opened and all. Lil’ fashion advice, girls – do not take style tips from Hollywood celebrities, ever. Unless they’re Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Then go for it. Those girls know their fashion.
PS. My Facebook page reached 2000+ likes the other day! I just wanted to say a quick thank you to all of the people that like what I do and support me and my lil’ blog. It makes me so happy knowing you enjoy reading my posts!
