on my wrists01.04.2013
Summer of 2012 was all necklaces for me, in terms of accessorizing. Loved using statement chunky pieces which pop out in any outfit or stacked tiny chokers for achieving classic subtlety. As hot, sunny weather was making its transition to… well, less hot and sunny, my romance with neck pieces was starting to fade away. When we finally reached winter, I simply couldn’t stand the cold touch of metal on my neck anymore. I decided it was time to break up for good.
I hate to admit I kind of cheated a bit and quickly found a replacement to keep my good looks while still being cozy. I also wanted to make my new crush exclusive and tell you all about it here. Therefore, I introduce you to my fave wrist combos that I’ve been wearing a lot these past few winter months. Few bigger pieces worn with some smaller ones, to keep it balanced. I quite like the mix of different types of bracelets – bangles with charm bracelets, hardware with tiny chain ones. I usually pair my wrist parties with my finger parties you’ve already seen here on the blog.
I enjoy these little arm collages very much at the moment, they’re a fun way to accessorize without being over the top. Wonder how long this fling will last though. I’ll keep you posted.
