After sporting black piercings for over three years, the time has come to change things up a bit. I originally wanted to take them off for good but after thinking about it, I realized I’d miss them too much, I’m not ready to part ways with them yet. Then I thought it’d be so cool to have gold jewelry. I went to every store in town, but have had no luck finding those. I stumbled upon some perfect 14k gold nose rings online but having to pay shipping three times the value of the actual product is not an option. At that point I said whatever and just got the regular silver ones in the local shop (they’re actually surgical steel but I’m using the word ‘silver’ to describe the color). Of course I’ve got the whole new look for spring to go with these, can’t wait to show you!

Great presentation of your new baby, I am curious to know how you will style them :).
I wish I had a tiny percentage of your photography creativity..I like the fact with almost nothing you turn simple things in beautiful ones.

srebrna je nova crna!

p.s. ja znam odakle je kutija – Ferrero Rocher – znam posto je i sama koristim kao kutiju za nakit –
svo ono hardware blago divno izgleda u njoj :)

I really like these pieces. It took me forever to find a nose ring I was happy with–I didn’t want a plain gold hoop and the studs were driving me insane. Turns out there is a newcomer to the row of piercing shops on St. Marks in NYC which custom makes all of their piercing jewelry–I was able to find a gold hoop with a diamond stud mounted as the closure. It is way pricier than the $5 surgical steel nose rings I was sporting before, but I think it is totally worth it. If you are interested the shop is called Jewels 32 ( The website design is kind of crappy and doesn’t have all of their products listed (it might be worth it to give them a call to see if they have what you want)–despite this, their products are really good.

Oh can’t wait to see them! I used to have lots of piercings. 2 in my nose in fact. I still have a beautiful diamond nose ring that a jeweler friend made for me. I don’t wear it all the time but I’ve made sure to keep that hole from closing up!

i bought my gold nose hoop from body candy… not sure what shipping would be to you, but over $20, and the shipping was free for me… worth checking out, as they have a lot of VERY simple, gold jewelry.

otherwise… looking forward to seeing the silver looks. makes such a difference to change up body jewelry!

inconsistency rang the horse

i would have to agree – i think silver is pretty slick! i have to say i’m pretty envious you still have your piercings. i had a nose ring at one point but had to remove it because my skin is so sensitive to the metal. i’ll have to live vicariously. :)

Part ways with them?? I don’t think I’ll ever be able to do that… I had some surgery recently and I had to take everything out and I looked so frigging weird.:D And I felt weird too. But I need some new pieces, no doubt…

Lovely! I also had a black lippiercing jewelry. But now I can’t imagine myself without the silver one (:
