No frequent posts, brought to you by the weather lately. The previous month has been treating us pretty badly here in Belgrade, constant rain and cold are getting on my last nerve right now. I’m walking around in sweaters and jackets and I don’t like that shit. I could hardly wait for spring/summer warm weather to arrive and now this? Seriously, Mother Nature? I’m sure someone’s laughing their ass off behind the clouds.
These days I’m very thankful for my closet clear out – everything is in neutrals and whatever I pull out, it matches. Dark tones suit the weather so well, so I’m going with those most of the time. The sweater was a gift from a friend. Usually, my clothes come with stories and this item is no exception. My friend washed it on high temperature and it shrunk. His loss was obviously my gain, I honestly love this sweater more than I should. It’s super warm and comfy, but it doesn’t itch. It’s just soft and…you get the idea of what amount of love I’m talking about. I usually wear it during winter months (duuh!) but since May/ June turned November on us, it got the chance to step out of the wardrobe one more time before the heat. And I really hope it will be the LAST time I wore it this year. (Nothing personal, dearest, I still love you. I’m just a summer child.)
Nonetheless, here’s an (do I dare say) awesome idea on how you can sneak in your men’s closet, steal his gorgeous clothes and wear them with style. Don’t go overboard though, boyfriend jeans and boy’s shirt and boy’s cap all worn at the same time will just make you look like Jay Z when he first started rapping. And you probably don’t want to sport that look. Go with one item at the time and spice it all up with some banging heels (or booties as shown) and sexy jewelry to bring out your feminine side (did I really say that out loud?). Most importantly, have fun mixing it up!
