Writing this post, I kicked myself for not taking at least one photo of this pretty package before opening it. Forgive my impatience, but I promise you’ll understand my excitement once I show you the contents of it. Me being me and being infatuated by anything that’s ugly at first sight, slightly off, messy or broken – I actually quite like how the torn up label looks on the rough, beige paper. Not sure if it’s there on purpose or not, but the “M” in the corner made the whole thing much more special. At Klekko, they really know how to treat their customers.

When I got their message, asking me for opinion about their newbie brand and their latest collection, I didn’t give it much thought because, honestly – there is rarely anything worthy of attention in my virtual mailbox when it comes to pitches from brands. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that Asia and Paulina have actual talent and an amazing vision. I was even more surprised when they replied saying I could pick any piece I liked from the collection. The aesthetic of Klekko is perfectly aligned with my personal style – monochromatic color palette, no embellishments, functionality of each piece smartly intertwined with its design. Also, I am always happy to support independent designers in any way I can. We need talent, fresh views on design, fashion and style, innovation and creativity to rise to the surface.

If you haven’t heard of Klekko yet, I suggest you immediately stop what you’re doing and head over to their official Facebook page and get acquainted with this amazing polish brand. You’ll get to see model #06 very soon!
