Rare are the things in life of a
style blogger woman that are more satisfying than finding the very last piece of clothing, in your size, hanging on the racks. Also, rare are the things that are weirder than a 23 year old whose size is that of a 10 year old. Finally, if I told you I found those jeans in children’s section and that they were on sale, would you believe me? If they weren’t hugging my legs this very moment, I wouldn’t either. I can vaguely recall the times when I categorically refused to even be in the same room with a pair of jeans. Okay, that’s an overstatement, but I wasn’t so keen on wearing them either. Truth be told, that was one of the more stupid decisions I made during my teens. Why would anyone relinquish the joy and comfort and stylishness that a denim trouser can bring into one’s life? My teen self might, but I know not.
However, as mom predicted, time passed and I learned to appreciate the things I thought of as silly and boring at some point in the past. Nowadays, slowly but surely I’m building my timeless style and wardrobe. The classic skinny fit jeans, designed in the simplest way possible. The perfect court shoe, which I was swooning over on Facebook a month ago. Don’t be afraid to invest in a pair, this type of shoe is a classic. You can be sure it will never go out of style and is appropriate to be worn on numerous occasions. And the last piece shown here – basic t-shirt, which is always a necessity. You can never go wrong with neutral colored, simple cotton tees. Even combining these three items together you get a ready-made outfit. Or you can consider it a base and build it up from there. Which reminds me – I will get back to that topic in some of the future posts, so keep an eye out for that one!
