No, I wasn’t really busy these couple of days. Not with work anyways (hence the lack of posts). Just needed time off the the www to do some self-reflecting and everything spiritual that goes with it. When half of your job is online, being away from the internet noise and a bit of silence and solitude in the real world can do you good once in a while. Surrounding yourself with everything white can have the same effect, so I’ve been told. Which I am obviously trying to do, without having to admit myself to rehab.
My trend sensors were obviously
raging tingling when I dipped my beige/ gold Converse into a bucket of white paint. Because a couple of months later, we have Converse x Maison Martin Margiela doing the same thing. Sadly, I don’t have the three M’s written inside of my shoe and the color that white paint will reveal once it starts chipping won’t be a surprise to me. On the much brighter side, I didn’t have to pay $200 for those perks.
Having an unnatural attachment to white paint and painting over every non-white object around me (yes, even the cans I store pencils in) could be considered THE mental illness of 2013. If that would be true, I wouldn’t mind my diagnosis one bit.
