Moving on from navy to lighter blues of the color spectrum. I always talk about how satisfying it is to find a long forgotten item in the back of your closet and fall in love with it all over again. This angora sweater was no exception. I got it few years back and while, admittedly, I am not the biggest fan of blue, I was drawn to the text on its label. Quality wise, it doesn’t get much better than angora, cashmere & cotton blend. Though figuring out the perfect time of the year to wear short-sleeved sweaters was a bit tricky at first, I solved the mystery in my ‘Not sweater weather‘ post. Don’t let the fuzziness fool you. It is one of the most comfortable sweaters (can I call it a sweater?) I own in which I never feel too hot or cold. Although it’s the beginning of June, with this bipolar weather it’s no wonder I’m still reaching for cozy pieces.
I have a tendency to wear either all bright outfits or all dark outfits. On rare occasions you can see me mixing the two. Here I went for something in between, with more than just a touch of color, but still kept it icy cool and fresh. I am no stranger to playing with textures either – rough denim and fuzzy top juxtaposed with the matte finish of my nails make for such an interesting trio, don’t you think?
