As hot sunny summer weather is approaching, I find myself dressing in flowy fabrics more often with a few details here and there. I’m making the most of my basics selection and how wouldn’t I? Clearing out my closet and having a neutral colored wardrobe is the best thing I have done for myself by far. Getting dressed has been a breeze lately; throwing on few casual yet still chic pieces in my key colors for summer is truly satisfying.
I purchased these wide leg pants few weeks ago. There is already a similar sand-beige pair hanging in my closet, so I opted for these in navy. The store was actually selling them as track pants for men, but me being a lover of anything oversized and androgynous, I had to get them. They just fit perfectly as high waist wide leg trousers on my petite frame. The fact that the fabric is very heavy (viscose + elastane) and makes the most beautiful movements makes these that much more appealing. Here I styled them with a simple cotton gray tee and leather mules, but I can already see myself wearing them with some crop tops and trainers or crisp white button ups and heels as a bit more dressed up option.
