When the lovely Sophia, blogger of Tao of Sophia (and the founder of the Blog and The City network) asked if I’d like to have one of the shirts from her mini collection named “Steps to happiness”, I simply couldn’t say no. She chuckled at my response and said she knew I’d go for the top which says “Think Less” on the back. She and I have been planning a little meet-up for a year now, but sadly our schedules have yet to allow us to do so. Yet, she seems to have such a clear understanding of what I’m all about, which is no big surprise since we’ve been following (and may I say loving) each other’s blogs and style evolution for a good while now. I truly admire her approach to not just fashion, but life in general. Her posts have the perfect balance of trendy, personal and inspirational elements. Hence I couldn’t resist having a piece of her philosophy so close to me – in my wardrobe.
“Think less” is the moto that I try to live by every day. Dressing in black and white, having less possessions, looking “minimal” – it all amounts to nothing if your mind is cluttered. Message aside, the top is made of 100% organic cotton, which is a huge plus, especially for a summer item. It allows for your skin to breathe and it feels heavenly soft. Since I’m spending my last summer days in the South of France, I’ve been wearing it almost non-stop. It fits as a mini dress and is a perfect choice to throw over a bikini poolside or at the beach, as well as casually tucked into shorts.
