how to steal and wear boyfriend’s clothes25/09/2015
Beating around the bush is out of style for FW 2015 so I’m just going to be real here. I steal. When I was a teenager, I enjoyed stealing hearts. Nowadays, I already have a truly special one in my possession so I moved on to something else. Something more… tangible. Clothes. Not any clothes, though. The very clothes that belong to the owner of that special heart I mentioned.
Confused? Let me make it a bit more clear.
You probably already know how much I enjoy wearing menswear. I strongly believe that most of the time it’s cut and made better and will stand the test of time compared to any item made for women. And when I’m not roaming around a menswear section in thrift shops, you can find me browsing my boyfriend’s dresser. Naturally.
Recently, I “borrowed” a white button up shirt (that also serves as a dress for this tiny person aka moi), a blazer and a watch (which was actually a gift from me to him via Jord watches*).
There is a good amount of delicious in the crispness of a white shirt, combined with a tailored blazer over my petite frame. The strong masculine vibe provided by the wooden Jord watch just add to the (sex)appeal of wearing boyfriend clothes.
Depending on how much I end up loving the reflection in my mirror whilst wearing these pieces, I might not give them back. Sue me, C.
