If you’ve been anxiously waiting for me to blog about this gorgeous bag I got a while ago, today is your lucky day! First, let’s play a round of the so-called ‘How many bags do you see in these pictures’ game. The answer might not be that obvious to an untrained eye. I’ll spare you the wait (and imaginary drum roll) and let you know that there are 3 – a tote, a clutch and a messenger bag. All rolled into one.
When it comes to clothing and accessories, there’s nothing I find more pleasurable than scoring an amazing item for a small amount of $$$. The euphoria comes when I discover more than one way to wear that particular piece. This bag ticks all the boxes mentioned. I got it at a local Chinese market for 9 euros. I’ve been carrying it almost everyday since, which is not that hard (or annoying) when you have an item that’s as versatile as this Celine look-a-like.
A while ago, in the post where I talked about wearing totes as clutches, I explained how difficult it can be to go with the clutch for the day, when just the smallest amount of things possible fit in it. Hence why I discovered that sporting a tote folded in half under my arm is the way that works for me in various situations. That sheds a bit of light on the special bond I have with this bag. It can be worn however I feel like it. The clutch is obviously the simplest way you can choose. Attach a strap to it and you’ve got yourself a messenger bag. The tote can be used as is but because it has no closure, I prefer to put the important things into the clutch and carry it inside the tote.
If you get creative and think of more ways this bag(s) can be worn, let me know!
